What to charge, worked backwards from your own week
Not what the coach down the road charges. What your hours and your income actually require — which is the only version of this number you can hold a line on when somebody asks for a discount.
Charge at least
₹2,400per client, per month
At 25 hours a week and 2.5 hours a client, you have room for 43 clients — and 43 clients at ₹2,400 is ₹1,03,200 a month.

However many you coach
A floor, not a price. It is what you have to charge for the maths to work at full capacity — and nobody is at full capacity every month, so most coaches should sit above it. It also assumes every client stays; at a 10% monthly churn, a tenth of this number is work you are doing to stand still.
Three things this number is not
- 01
It is not a market rate
It is your rate. Somebody charging ₹2,000 in the same city may have a gym salary behind them, or may be quietly going out of business. You cannot tell which from their Instagram.
- 02
It is not a ceiling
It is the floor at full capacity. Full capacity is rare, so the working number should sit above it — and the coach who is full and still at their floor has their answer about raising prices.
- 03
It does not price the hours you are not counting
Writing plans on Sunday, answering WhatsApp at nine at night, chasing payment on the 3rd. If those are in your week and not in your hours-per-client, the real number is higher than this one.
